Shawn earned a B.S. in Computer Science from Grand Valley State University before joining Atomic Object. While in school, Shawn worked as an intern at Solidus Design.

You are likely to meet Shawn at the beginning of any project. He helps our clients determine if we’re the right fit for their project and facilitates most of our research, design and planning activities.

Shawn is involved in the continuous improvement of our practices and service offerings. He strives to make sure we’re building great products while offering the best value to our clients.

Shawn enjoys being engaged in the coordination of design and agile development teams, product management, project management, estimation, budgeting, release planning and generally helping our clients understand the power and value of our agile process.

Shawn also has a development background. He has professional experience building:

• Desktop applications using C#, Java, and JRuby
• Web applications using PHP, Ruby and Java
• Command line tools using Ruby, Perl and Bash
• Custom reporting and testing tools in Oracle

Shawn has worked with clients doing business in automotive, health care, health insurance, financial planning, and theory of constraints consulting.
