In this talk I'll explain the process of employing size-based project estimation for planning, tracking and reporting, and I'll describe how this approach has helped developers at Atomic Object become extremely effective at technical project planning and management.
I'll also reflect on some of the big wins of size-based vs time-based estimation for software development team: a shared language of estimation, more realistic estimates with less effort, the ability to measure genuine progress, and powerful tools for continuously providing our customers with useful data.
