Hi, I’m
.
My path into software wasn't a straight line, and I think that's made me a better engineer. After studying Biology and Environmental Science in undergrad, I spent seven years running an organic farm before making the leap into tech in 2018. The same instincts that made me a good farmer, patience, systems thinking, knowing when to iterate and when to start over, turned out to translate surprisingly well to building software.
Since then, I've grown from front-end specialization into full-stack ownership, leading architecture and delivery on large-scale platforms. I work primarily in React, TypeScript, Next.js, and Node.js, with a strong appreciation for the backend systems and infrastructure that make the front end possible. I'm at my best when I'm close to the product, thinking about how decisions ripple across the stack and how to build things that last.
I'm elated to be part of what Atomic is building here in Raleigh. It's rare to find an organization where the values you read about on the website actually show up in how people work and show up for their community, and I'm inspired by the impact this office is already having locally.
I'm a Raleigh native, and I'm proud to still call it home. I live here with my wife and two daughters. When I'm not coding, I'm usually on a bike, in the water swimming laps, or chasing waves somewhere at the coast.
Want to see what Atomic can do?
