Joel Tyndall

My first job was driving a tractor on the family tobacco farm at the age 10, where I learned the value of hard work, communication, and air conditioning. Apart from a brief detour to Utah Valley University for my bachelor’s in Business Management, I’m a North Carolinian, born and raised. Today, I’m a Software Consultant and Delivery Lead in Atomic Object’s Raleigh office.

I’ve spent nearly ten years in software development, wearing just about every product-oriented hat along the way. At Atomic, I work alongside a talented team of designers and developers to turn our clients’ ideas into products people genuinely want to use. I believe great ideas can come from anyone in the room, so I make a point of drawing out the quietest voice before we decide anything. I’ll always push for the simplest design that solves a real person’s problem.

When I’m not prepping for the next product demo, you can find me outdoors with my wife, Janna, and our rescue hound, Roo, catching an independent country show, or perfecting my steak frites.
