As a Practice Lead and Software Consultant at Atomic Object, I help shape a culture of collaboration, craftsmanship, and sustainable Agile practices. I coach and support developers across our office, guiding them in growing their craft while strengthening the processes, tools, and practices that make our teams effective. My goal is to help makers and clients alike experience the value of transparency, teamwork, and thoughtful software delivery.
I believe great software comes from people working together, not in isolation. That’s why I’ve long championed paired programming, test-driven development, and mentoring as foundations for building both products and communities. My career has taken me through diverse domains—biosciences, finance, container trucking, survey management, and the court system—each one reinforcing my belief that collaboration is the constant that drives quality and innovation. Along the way, I’ve shared my experience through conference talks, teaching, and coaching, always with an emphasis on bringing Agile philosophies to life in practical, human ways.
My passion for technology started early, from DOS-based games and the original Game Boy to building my own computer (complete with a TV tuner card) and diving into robotics. Those early sparks grew into a career of learning, teaching, and leading—first as a developer, now as a Practice Lead helping others succeed.
Outside of work, I find joy with my husband and our Shih Tzu, Trooper (aka Storm Trooper). Summers mean grilling in the backyard or swimming at the local pool, while winters are perfect for movies or board games. And no matter the season, all things Star Wars are always welcome.
