I consider myself to be a positive thinker with a creative mindset, dedicated to forming unique solutions to all kinds of challenges. My passion for Computer Science is centered around this very outlook as, to me, there is nothing more exciting than grappling with a tricky problem until it's resolved.
I began my Computer Science journey at Denison University, where I graduated with a Bachelors. While there, I took every opportunity to participate in workshops, events, and conferences that helped me grow my skills as a programmer and become a strong communicator.
In my final years of college, I transitioned into working as an undergraduate research assistant, where I focused in depth on Privatized Federated Machine Learning Models. This sparked my specific interest in Data Privacy, as well as, Machine Learning. My first research paper was published at an IEEE conference in 2024 and, while I deeply enjoy the depth of academic research, I made the decision to move towards developing software. Today, I combine my creative mindset and experience to form well constructed and meaningful solutions.
Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, baking, doing puzzles, and cuddling with my dog.
