My journey into software development started in an unexpected place: poker. While taking a web design class in high school to fulfill a technology credit, I was introduced to the creative and technical possibilities of building for the web. One of my first projects was a simple website that displayed poker cards in different corners of the screen. It wasn't complex, but it immediately sparked an interest that ultimately helped me choose my path forward.

I went on to study Computer Science at Grand Valley State University, where my curiosity for the field continued to grow. That passion led me to earn both a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Computer Science, giving me the opportunity to deepen my technical knowledge and explore a wide range of new and exciting concepts.

After graduating, I joined Atomic Object through its Accelerator program. As a software consultant, I enjoy the continuous learning that comes with solving new challenges and working across industries. What excites me most is building thoughtful solutions that will have an impact for a lifetime!
