Being a Software Developer & Consultant at Atomic Object gives me the opportunity to do what I am most passionate about: working with people in my community to create things that increase the amount of joy in the world. Since first learning about software development as a career path during my time at Calvin University back in 2013 I’ve come to realize that software can be an effective vehicle for that passion. I have spent the better part of my time since then as a software consultant helping clients ask the right questions, accurately define problems, and build the appropriate solutions. Coming close to a decade in the field, I hope to keep adding to a long list of customers who, after working with our team, leave happier than when they first started.

Other ways I try to add joy into the world are baking for my family and growing very tall sunflowers in my garden.
