Atomic Object has named Abishek Boinpally managing partner in its Chicago office as the firm expands its presence there.

Boinpally will join Managing Partner Jordan Schaenzle to set the Chicago office’s direction, strengthen go-to-market efforts, develop client partnerships, and support the growing, local team.

Atomic Object is an employee-owned software consultancy founded in 2001. The firm has delivered more than 300 products for clients ranging from startups to Fortune 500 companies.

Atomic Object Co-CEO Shawn Crowley said Boinpally brings technical, product-development, and business acumen to the new role.

“He has significant experience consulting at the executive and board level of organizations, and he understands how strategic technical projects can directly drive business value—particularly in health tech and insurance,” said Crowley.

Before joining Atomic Object, Boinpally led sales and marketing for StackNexus, a technology services partner for Salesforce and Google. A University of Chicago Booth School of Business MBA graduate, he has lived in Chicago since 2009 and has focused his work on scaling organizations through business development, sales, and mergers and acquisitions, from early-stage companies to enterprises.

“I come from a fast-growth, private equity and venture-backed world where growth often comes at a cost,” said Boinpally. “Atomic Object stood apart from anything I had experienced and built before. It showed me that businesses can be built around people and still scale to tens of millions in revenue. That rare combination is what ultimately convinced me to be part of Atomic.”

Atomic Object opened its Chicago office in 2020, and the team has since grown to serve clients both regionally and nationally from its location at 609 W. Randolph St.
