Atomic Object Debuts DE&I Impact Report
Inaugural report highlights milestones and offers transparency into consultancy's diversity, equity, and inclusion activities
Atomic Object released its first Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) Impact Report today. The report provides a quantitative and qualitative look into the company's ongoing DE&I initiatives.
For over two decades, Atomic has focused on cultivating a people-first environment. In 2020, they accelerated their commitment to DE&I by partnering with Global Bridgebuilders. This collaboration led to the creation of an employee-driven Diversity Action Council and the implementation of a biennial company survey to measure its DE&I-related processes against best practices as defined by Global Bridgebuilders.
"Advancing our DE&I efforts through our Diversity Action Council has been a more robust and impactful approach to this important work," said Co-CEO Shawn Crowley.
Key achievements shared in the report include Atomic’s recertification as a B Corporation, an increase in employee ownership, investments in diverse suppliers, and an analysis of their team's self-reported demographic information.
Reflecting on Atomic’s DE&I progress, Co-CEO Mike Marsiglia takes the long-term view.
"Advancing DE&I is a continual process,” he said. “We are nurturing leaders, making DE&I a core business process, and not concentrating this work on a single person."
