If we’re being honest, I'm pretty sure what I wanted to be when I grew up was famous – whether as a singer, dancer, actor, or social/environment justice advocate. I just knew that I wanted to make a difference and thought having a platform gives me a better chance to make an impact. In a way, I still strive for that, but as I discovered who I was growing into, I found a more holistic answer. It wasn’t as specific as some (in fact, I didn’t really have the details figured out until junior year of high school), but I knew, whatever it ended up being, it had to include two things: working with people and creating.

Those values led me to not only get a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science Engineering from Michigan State University, but to also add some flavor to my diploma with two Minors: one in Dance and another in Leadership of Organizations. My time at MSU included countless moments of discovering knowledge and passion. While I found my love for programming in high school, its depth continued to grow every year since.

After graduating, I moved to Raleigh. After months of job applications, making friends as a server downtown, and remote work as the main programmer for a quantum physics lab, I found Atomic Object. Starting as part of the first Accelerator Program cohort in the new Raleigh office, I was drawn to Atomic’s integrity, inclusion, and innovation. As an Atom, I am passionate about meeting my clients' needs while excelling in planning and coding practices.

I believe in creating something out of nothing more than a need, a vision, and a computer. I believe that collaboration is the path to success, and that success is much more than functioning software – it’s about growth, connection, and paving the way for future developers and dreamers. In my free time, I enjoy dancing, hanging outdoors with my Westies, playing volleyball, cooking, and absorbing media from Rainbow Kitten Surprise songs to Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood episodes.
