Software Consultant & Developer

Ann Arbor

I am a recent graduate from the University of Michigan, where I studied both Computer Science and Spanish. As someone who had barely written a line of code before my freshman year of college, what initially attracted me to programming and software development was its potential to intersect with and improve other non-technical fields. While efficient algorithms and elegant code did interest me, what impressed me most about the field were the ways in which software could improve people’s everyday lives. From seemingly simple work to improve the accessibility of a website’s design and user interface, or developing medical software that allows people to have more control and awareness of their health, I am passionate about the ways that software interacts with people.

These values are also reflected in the work I do at Atomic Object. As a software consultant and developer at Atomic, I aim to write code that meets and surpasses the needs and expectations of our clients and, ultimately, makes people’s jobs and lives easier.

I wasn’t expecting to be a software developer when I started out my education. But change is inevitable, and it’s part of my personal software development philosophy: writing code to withstand and be flexible in the face of change. I enjoy problem solving and working with my team at Atomic to find the best solution- one that is iterative and grows with its environment.
