The most enthralling adventures I've ever had were intellectual challenges to solve problems. Which is why I'm always chasing after questions, designing new solutions, and wanting to improve the question.
My background is in classical violin and education. I have both a Master's in Violin Performance from Northwestern University and Education at Harvard University. As a violinist, I wanted to refine techniques and present the best possible product to the audience. From this pursuit, I discovered the science of learning which challenged me to question my process. During my Master's in Education, my professor Karen Brennan introduced me to Scratch, a programming language for kids. From there the questions and demand for more creative solutions that children do so easily motivated me to dive deeper into Computer Science. I went on to complete a Software Engineering course at the Flatiron School, which confirmed that this field was the amalgamation of everything I wanted.
Atomic Object's Accelerator program enhanced everything I wanted in my environment. I get to work with coworkers who challenge themselves, care about the audience/clients, and always question the questions. Because of this, every day is a new day I look forward to as my adventure continues.
