Software consulting satisfies my drive to understand how the world works and observe patterns in human behavior. I’ve had the opportunity to work with and learn from customers in a wide range of industries including education & training, nonprofit, manufacturing & industrial, foodservice health & fitness, government, and more, ranging in size from very small to Fortune 500.

As Delivery Practice Lead, I amplify and support the work of makers at Atomic Object through mentoring, coaching and facilitating, implementing tooling and practices, identifying and structuring project opportunities, and thought leadership. I also triage inbound project opportunities, and occasionally provide support to our sales and pre-project consulting team.

Previously, I led and managed Atomic’s Grand Rapids team as a managing partner. I established Atomic’s delivery practice in 2015. My background is in user experience design, and I was one of Atomic Object’s first design practitioners when I joined the company in 2011. Defining the patterns for how designers and developers participate together in the product design process and helping our company embrace human-centered design remain important achievements in my career.

Outside of work I’m an avid equestrian, and I love gardening, cooking, and traveling to places domestic and exotic with my husband. I graduated with honors in 2008 from Grand Valley State University, where I studied Classical Languages. I still read Latin for fun sometimes.
