My family has always been early adopters of technology. As a kid, I spent most of my summers with my grandfather, a brilliant engineer, who constantly fueled my curiosity with cool new projects to tinker with. While it has been over a decade since our last project, not much has changed. I am just as curious.
My passion for software development began from watching movies with hackers or programmers and thinking they had superpowers. So I spent my free time learning on websites like Codecademy or following along Youtube tutorials. For the longest time, my journey into software development was rather solitary, but now that I am with Atomic, I have a team of like-minded individuals, thirsty for knowledge.
Before Atomic, I studied at Kalamazoo College and graduated with a B.A. in Computer Science. Kalamazoo College was the perfect place for me to better myself as both a person and a developer. During my time at Kalamazoo, I was a software development intern at Chelsea Rhone LLC and I wrote a thesis on web scraping.
Outside of work you can probably find me playing soccer, traveling the world, or simply spending time with friends and family.
