The summer going into 5th grade, I took a course on Scratch programming at my elementary school. I was immediately hooked. Every day after summer school, I would get on the computer and play around on Scratch for hours. From there, I started learning other programming languages such as Python and Java. When it was time to start applying to colleges, I already knew that I wanted to major in Computer Science. While pursuing my Computer Science degree at Case Western Reserve University, I gained a lot of valuable experience, notably, training machine learning models to detect cancer as a research assistant and programming underwater robots for competitions.
I chose to start my career at Atomic Object because I knew I would learn a lot working with a wide range of technologies while getting to collaborate with a tight-knit team of passionate people. When I'm not coding, I enjoy playing the euphonium, trombone, and piano. I've played in numerous ensembles including concert band, marching band, brass ensemble, pit orchestra, and smaller chamber groups.
