I began writing custom software part-time back when I was earning my degrees in Physics and Mathematics to pay some college expenses. I thought for sure I was going to be a planetary Astronomer, but life had better plans.

Shortly after getting married, I started working for a local law firm writing software and found out I was good at solving unique problems. Since then, I’ve had leadership positions in large corporations, a dot-com startup, and most recently another professional service agency. This has given me practical real-world experiences that I can apply to solve a variety of problems on the technology and people side of software engineering.

My first experience with Carl and Atomic Object was early in my career at Priority Health where we asked him to teach us Agile software development. I was immediately impressed with Atomic’s human approach to software development that allowed us to achieve our goals while creating a great product experience for our customers. Over the following years, I’ve watched Atomic Object grow with great admiration and respect for all their wonderful accomplishments.

I consider myself lucky to now work with all the amazing people at Atomic Object. Their passion to help people, curiosity to learn how the world works, and desire to solve hard problems align with my own desire to make this world a better place for all of us.
