I have always had a passion for math and logic (I genuinely loved AP Calc and stoichiometry), but I wasn’t sure how to make a career out of solving equations. Luckily, one of those high school career path surveys brought the world of computer science to my attention, and I fell in love with coding in my first semester at Grand Valley State University.
I graduated from GVSU with a B.S. in Computer Science in 2017, and decided to try living overseas. I spent about three years in Stockholm, Sweden where I worked as a full-stack software developer in the finance industry, and led my development team through successful deliveries to clients around the world.
That time taught me the immense value of a diverse team of developers as well as the rigorous quality standards that are required when writing applications that run the world’s financial markets. I am excited to bring my experience and passion for high-quality software to Atomic Object’s clients.
In my free time, you can find me knitting, reading a book, or playing volleyball.
