Ever since I was a kid, I've always been that person who loves tinkering with computers and electronics. My fascination with technology started early—so early that by the time I was 6, I was teaching my parents how to use a computer!

As I grew up, my curiosity only intensified. I spent countless hours learning and experimenting, often taking apart old electronics like DVD players and various computer parts just to see how they worked. At 12 years old, I built my first computer out of old office computer parts, using it to host video-game servers for my friends and me.

Middle and high school were exciting times for me, as I gained hands-on experience through three different internships in downtown Kalamazoo. One of which was at a home automation company, and the other two as an IT technician for different architecture companies. High school was also where I discovered my love for software development, thanks to an inspiring web design class.

When I started at Grand Valley State University, I was set on majoring in Information Technology. However, during my fourth internship towards the end of the pandemic, I had the chance to work alongside some amazing Computer Science majors from a nearby college. Their passion and skills inspired me, and I realized that software development was my true calling.
In my third year of college, I made the switch to Computer Science and found it to be incredibly fun and intellectually stimulating with all the problem-solving it involved. As my time at Grand Valley was drawing to a close, I interviewed with Atomic Object and was thrilled to join their team as part of the Accelerator Program just a few months after graduation.
Looking ahead, I'm excited to continue learning and taking on new challenges in the ever-evolving world of technology.
