I’m a Senior Software Consultant & Developer in Atomic Object’s Grand Rapids office, where I design and build AI-driven systems and software architectures that give clients a durable competitive edge—not just a flashy prototype.
My journey into tech started in a low-income neighborhood with a locked-down home WiFi network. I spent afternoons at the public library learning how networks and exploits worked, then evenings applying that knowledge to “ethically questionable” experiments on my neighbor’s router. That curiosity led me to study Computer Science at the University of Michigan and eventually to roles at Citi, Microsoft’s Threat Protection team, Outlier, and Veterans United, working across security, finance, and applied AI.
Along the way, I became obsessed with one idea: critical thinking is the foundation of human mastery. Through my work with AutoNateAI’s Critical Thinking Academy, I’ve taught students and professionals to see everything—software, organizations, markets, even their own habits—as systems they can understand, model, and improve.
At Atomic, I bring that same systems mindset to client projects, pairing modern AI tools with clear reasoning, thoughtful tradeoffs, and high-quality engineering. Outside of work, you’ll find me mentoring folks from underrepresented backgrounds, diagramming ideas with AI as my learning partner, or dropping into Fortnite squads with friends to unwind.
