Gillian Lemke

Software Consultant & Developer, Ann Arbor

Gillian Lemke

I am a graduate of Eastern Michigan University, where I studied computer science and math. Throughout school, I focused on becoming the best programmer possible by doing projects outside of class, attending software related clubs and talks, and developing for organizations or clients. So far, I’ve had the opportunity to intern at Atomic Object, develop a cross-platform application for Digital Divas at EMU, and present at EMU’s Undergraduate Research Symposium in 2017 and 2018.

I started computer science after a year as a piano performance major. I’ve played piano since I was four years old and it will always be a part of my life, but was not the right career path for me. Computer science has been fulfilling and produces quick results. I love problem solving, learning new languages, and discussing technical problems with my peers.

Outside of work, I enjoy playing piano, listening to music, reading (especially mysteries), and playing games with friends or family.
