Noah Cooper

Software Consultant & Developer, Ann Arbor

Cooper Noah 2021 Web

I was a high school student in Chicago when I attended my first hackathon at a local university. I started from scratch on an iOS project, and after plenty of iteration and debugging, I walked away having created a fully functional wellness platform. Reflecting on the 24-hour journey from “hello world” to deliverable left me with quite an awesome yet humbling feeling. One of the allures of being a developer here at Atomic is that I’m able to experience that feeling on a much grander scale.

After realizing that software development was a passion of mine, I went on to graduate from the University of Michigan with a Computer Science degree and Mathematics minor in April 2021. During my time at college, I was involved in student-run tech startups, helped organize the university hackathon, and interned at a large fintech company in Chicago. Through my experiences at Michigan, I felt a sense of belonging in the Ann Arbor tech community, further signaling that Atomic was a great fit for me. I joined the Accelerator Program’s Cell Delta cohort in May 2021.

Outside of work, I love to go skiing when it snows and play golf or pickup basketball when it doesn’t. I also enjoy spending time with friends and family as much as I can.
